DEPOSIT | PAYMENT | CANCELLATION POLICY

DEPOSIT 

To reserve your place on one of our retreats, please make a 50% deposit up to 90 days before the start of the retreat or the full cost of the retreat thereafter. Please note that the deposit is only refundable up to 90 days before the start of the retreat.
 

FULL PAYMENT

Full payment is due 90 days prior to the start date of the yoga retreat.
 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays, illness or for any other reason. If you cancel your participation in a retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy below will apply, with no exceptions. We wish we could compensate people for unforseen circumstances (injury, family emergency, etc), but we have costs already incurred when organising a retreat, for example, reserving retreat centers and hotels. We have designed our cancellation policy to be as compassionate as possible in the case that your plans change. But to protect yourself further, we strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance as soon as you have paid your deposit.
 

IF YOU CANCEL THE YOGA RETREAT:

 

• 90 days or more prior to the start of the yoga retreat: you receive a full refund of your deposit.

• 0-90 days prior to the start of the yoga retreat: the deposit is not refundable.

 

To cancel, you must send an email stating that you wish to cancel to: blueplanetretreats@gmail.com
 

IF WE CANCEL THE YOGA RETREAT:

We have never had to cancel a retreat, however, if we do cancel a trip due too few participants, we will refund to you all deposits and payments you have made to us. As with all yoga retreat operators, we cannot, however, compensate you for airfare or travel costs incurred. In the unlikely event that we must cancel a yoga retreat due to weather, natural disaster or political upheaval, we  cannot guarantee a refund – it will be dependant on receiving a refund from the venue / tour operator we work with. To cover these risks, we highly recommend you purchase travel insurance as soon as you reserve your retreat.
 

TRAVEL INSURANCE:

We strongly advise you to protect yourself from any unforeseen circumstance by purchasing travel  insurance. Travel Insurance can protect you in case:
• you cancel your participation in the yoga retreat
• the retreat is cancelled due to weather, natural disaster, or not enough participants to  run the trip
• lost baggage
• medical expenses and the cost of repatriation should you become ill or injured
